Current Plant Clinic Dates & Locations
We are proud to offer our plant clinics to the public. If you need more information about gardening in Florida, have a gardening question, or have a problem with a plant, please call or come in during the
plant clinic. Plant clinics are staffed by our Sumter County Master Gardeners volunteers under the direction of our Urban Horticulture Agent,
Brooke Burn.
If you have a problem with a plant, it is best to bring either the whole plant, if small enough and in a manageable container, or else bring in a sample of that plant that contains the problem. It might be best to include part of the plant that doesn't have the problem, too.
If you are unable to attend the plant clinic, but wish to bring in a sample of the plant, please fe
el free to drop off the sample at our Sumter County Extension Office, during regular business hours, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except holidays. You can also send questions by e-mail and attach any digital pictures
to Donna Lester at
dmlester@ufl.edu.
Please give us your name and address, so that we could send you information, and your phone number in case we have further questions or wish to contact you with the answer to your question. Please be patient as answers to some questions require extensive research.
