Our Mission

To link education with life experience to help people improve their lives, their families, and communities.

Sumter County Family and Consumer Science agent brings you workshops, educational series, newsletters, media articles, volunteer training programs, exhibits, demonstrations, publications and office consultations.  Volunteer support for these programs is provided by Master Food and Nutrition Educators.

Family and Consumer Sciences programs are delivered to anyone needing non-formal educational information.  Programs are scheduled at the request of groups and can be designed to target specific information for the audience.
